i think there is a fair chance shumpert and splitter end up combining for more value then sanders and marco (who UA is dropping)
i'm not sure sanders will turn it around as much as most think
BUT i'm surprised UA pulled the trigger so easily, he could have got more back
if sanders does bounce back, spurs becomes very scarey

I really didnt want to give up either but figured I had to shoot for the stars as he coudl help me out. I was 3rd in 3s, tops in points, 4th in reb, tops in ast, tops in steals, 2nd in bocks. I am hoping with this trade I can improve on all of those.
I didnt want to trade shumpert as he has done well this season but I have 4 knicks and the other 3 fit my team better (either position wise or skills they bring) and 4 of any team is to many to have.
I didnt want to tradeTiago because he is a spur but I am hoping that Sanders can bring me better numbers.

Sorry just getting to this. I confirm.
Yeah I give up on Sanders. Maybe reactionary, But I'm not entirely convinced he will turn it around either. I don't know if they are running a new system in Milwaukee or what the deal is But he seems a little lost out there. He seems like he may have a lot on his mind... Baby born i think, Then this mysterious off court incident, Now his thumb is in a splint for some reason... Not to mention that massive contract he just signed... That may have a lot to do with it... As a rule I try to avoid Drafting breakout players on the first year of a new contract; That's what I get for breaking my own rules. I have absolutely no feel on whether he will turn it around or not, That uncertainty was enough for me to want to be rid of him. Even if he were to come back and play better I still don't think I would ever trust him because in the back of my mind I would always be thinking about him putting up a Stinker stat line.
Splitter is solid, I know what to expect from him and he won't give me a headache. Plus I have diaw Already so I have both sides of that Arrangement.
Shumpert Admittedly could eventually become a waiver wire Casualty. On the other hand, the knicks Are dropping like flies And are probably worse than anyone imagined. The loss of Chandler for the next couple months means they will probably be going with a whole lot of small ball, Which should translate into minutes for shump. Even after JR Smith returns I think it could still be possible for shump To net himself about 25 minutes per game, Which is still better than 99% of the current available free agents. Not to mention he is in the top 100 players of 2017 list. No? Nothing?
