Here we go, let's see what the changes have done. Probably got my best lineup in today minus Gordon, so should be interesting to see if the inconsistent play (which no doubt will rear it's ugly head at some point today) can be countered by depth (which was the goal)

Redskins would be absolutely destroying me if Iggy/Bledsoe were playing. I even caught a break with Jameer going down and still couldn't capitalise.
The issue is with my stars. Irving is playing absolutely woeful in Cleveland under Mike Brown and Westbrook is really rusty. Horford has been inconsistent most of the season. The Millsap combination isn't as effective as the J-Smoove combination. Noah is playing ordinary, the only bright spots on this roster have been Chandler Parsons and Robin Lopez.
Must admit though, if I can't make the playoffs this season I really am happy with that Terrence Jones trade. He looks like a multi cat stud that kid. If he keeps producing through the year and the Rox commit to him long term, then moving that rookie pick for him and a first round FA pick was a good move.

Yeah I've always liked Jones' fantasy potential, and he's a good fit next to Dwight.

Never thought I'd be up 9-0 at any point this week but I'm liking it. Would be nice if it were to finish that way but I'm not holding my breath. It's closer then the score shows, I just happen to be on the right side of everything. Don't need Reaver "sliding back into first place".

Yeah I've always liked Jones' fantasy potential, and he's a good fit next to Dwight. Love Jones, wanted the Bucks to draft him, but I don't think he's a great fit next to Dwight. However since Parsons and Harden don't play D he can defend a wing if needed and Parsons can be the pseudo stretch 4

Reavers - We all have our opinions on who will win matches and I respect that. I also respect PM's team, he has balance that is tough to deal with. However I do find it interestig that you had PM as an apparent easy winner over me and consider him to be slipping against me now. I won't be shocked at all if I lose this week, but honestly I would have considered me the favorite. I mean I did come in with a 9.5 game lead on PM in the standings and overall came into this week healthier than PM (which I won't deny is a help). No offense taken or anything, I know I sucked last year and i still need to do work to get noticed in the league.

Errrrm, Reavers, what the hell are you watching? Parsons doesn't play D? Um, dude, at least watch a few rockets games before you make wild assumptions such as the above. Parsons is actually one of the better one on one defenders in the league. Don't count stats, because he's not going to prove his D through steals or blocks however when Kobe Bryant endorses your defense then you're doing something right.
Silly comment Reavers, I agree on Harden though!

Kid can D with the best of them. He's Scottie Pippen in a white shell.

scottie pippen in a white shell ?
c'mon now
parsons looked very good on D in his rookie year but since then he's been pretty meh, good in the pick and roll, rotates well but he gets bullied a bit in the post these days and has been beaten off the dribble a bit
certainly not harden esque but he's no where near being a top one on one guy, i actually think he is borderline average one on one, makes up for it with high IQ team defense

He gets bullied in the post because he's not a post player budge. The whole concept of him playing the 4 in general is ridiculous. He's not a 4, never will be. He gets beaten off the dribble? Um, so do the best defenders to have played the game. It happens. Normally it happens on screens, which is why I also disagree with you that he's a good pick and roll defender. That's actually his major weak point, so I have absolutely no idea where you get that from.
I've been watching the kid for the last 3 seasons and The Rockets are kind of like a second team for me.
One on one, man to man he's a very very good defensive wing. Put him in the post though? Different story due to his lack of physical ability.
I seriously hate it when people judge a player based on the "few times" they've seen him. I've probably watched more than 100 games of Parsons in his nba career and whilst biased, to call him an average defender? Please, go and watch some more tape.

i've seen enough to make up mind, would it be as much as you ? highly unlikely
but i own him in 3nc this year and have watched a bit more of him, he looks to slow to guard the athletic 3's, not strong enough to guard to big 4's
i think he generally makes the right call on P&R
