Minnesota wins the lottery!
Is there a clear best talent?
NBAdraft.net has Towns and Okafor going 1-2, with Dieng as the current backup, you'd think that would mean goodbye Pekovic, however Rubio trade rumours have been flying around
Looks like the Lakers will definitely get either a C or PG, both of which they need pretty badly, they should probably go for a big man

I dont think the Lakers need a PG they have Jordan Clarkson. I would think Min would go big as well and have read they like Okafor better then towns. I think that would be a big mistake for them to go after okafor.

haha you expect Minnesota to pick anything but a PG? Remember 2009?
pick #5 - Ricky Rubio - PG pick #6 - Jonny Flynn - PG pick #18 - Ty Lawson - PG pick #28 - Wayne Ellington - SG pick #45 - Nick Calathes - PG

There's also a lot of chatter about the Lithuanian Big, Porzingis being rated as high as no.3 by some. Apparently one scout even rates him higher than Okafor!!!!
Though this years' draft isn't meant to be as deep I reckon you can still get a decent fantasy contributor in all 14 picks. It'll be interesting to see how some of prospects from the smaller College's go, or those tall junior/senior pg prospects like Grant and Harrison go.
Where will all of the Wildcats get drafted because there is a lot of them.

I've read that the wolves want a two way big, which wouldn't surprise me that it'll be Towns. I can see the lakers going for Okafor at second, and Russell will go to Philly at third (something they've been planning since trading MCW).
Spurs is right, just can't see the lakers taking a guard over one of the two bigs, especially with Clarkson, that and the reported interest in Rondo.
Love the fact that the Knicks dropped, it's awesome. Couldn't happen to a better franchise. But the wolves are starting to come together nicely pre-love.
Pek/Dieng Towns Wiggs LaVine/Shabazz Rubio (if he's not traded).
Still a below 500 team, but some nice talent there. And Towns learning under KG would be amazing for the kid.

Speaking of Johnny Flynn, that dude still playing in the NBL?

As for my own team, I'd deadset do anything to see us try and get Devin Booker. Christ knows we need a shooter at the 2 spot. Unfortunately our franchise and Ric Carlisle himself have both got a turrible track record both on draft night, and youth player development both respectively.

I reckon after the top 12 or so players, there's probably not a great deal of difference in talent from pick 13 to pick 30.
They're already saying it's not a deep draft but I wonder who will be the sleeper from this draft?
