cam2win 24-38-1 | 11th vs The Imaginarium 33-29-1 | 7th
UA Grey Eminence 24-37-2 | 10th vs gbmb34's Team 45-18-0 | 1st
Balki Bartokomous 18-45-0 | 14th vs DigitalFool 23-40-0 | 12th
Haydz' Pink Beards 35-27-1 | 5th vs Sultans of Swish 32-30-1 | 8th

MOTW Mr. Clutch's Gang 38-24-1 | 4th vs Schwidawg's Team 40-20-3 | 2nd
Two top 4 teams battle it out this week with very little to separate the two and each trying to solidify their spots at the top. This is going to come down to the wire and wouldn't be surprised to see it be a win by the slimmest of margins, 5-4 either way.

I was saving my #1 waiver wire pick for a player that I thought could be a great future player. With a third of the season gone and players starting to solidify their roles I was running out of chances on picking up a decent player and was thinking I might be eating that pick and picking up a chump. I was very happy getting S. Johnson. I was really banking on an impatient manager. I just hope he turns out great like I think he has the ability to be.

Nice pick up... I think he will certainly be a really good PG in the future. A good move in a dynasty league.

That's probably my biggest downfall in leagues like this. I just don't have the patience to sit and wait for someone to develop. In hindsight, I probably should have put him up for trade but I can sometimes jump the gun and want immediate change instead of having to wait for trade offers.

In hindsight, I probably should have put him up for trade but I can sometimes jump the gun and want immediate change instead of having to wait for trade offers. I suffer from exactly the opposite... I look too far into the future with players in standard leagues, when the future really doesnt matter in a standard league. thats why Im far more comfortable in a keeper/dynasty league.

Patience in these types of leagues is a hard thing to stick with. I have the same flaw and have been struggling with the temptation to try and win now versus building a team for long term success all season. With guys like Winslow and Johnson getting dropped recently i've begun second guessing why i'm hanging onto a couple of my young assets that are not producing. Especially after finally having a productive week last week (3rd in DF's weekly rankings).

It was a real struggle for me when I let go Winslow. But after watching him very closely and what he had to offer for the future, I went with my gut and felt he would probably never be a superstar in this league or an elite player. I may eat my words on this choice. Hopefully not. On the flip side my gut is telling me that S. Johnson can be somebody special in this league. I guess that's what makes these leagues so fun to play. With some decisions you can fail miserably and on some look like a fantasy guru! LOL

Might get my first win here. Didn't even realize Winslow was dumped I would have preferred Carl Winslow to Justice Winslow. Family Matters was a spin-off of Perfect Strangers.

3 wins in a row and wasn't sure it was going to happen. Need to make some decisions regarding my team over the holiday. Being in the top 6 right now, I think I need to solidify the bottom end of my group to help me stay there.
