Figured I would write up how I see my team going for this coming year and people can agree disagree or find out where I rank my players. This also give me a chance to look back at end of year and see how close I was on some of these.
My all Stars
Nikola Jokic- Probably the biggest asset on my roster when looking at age and what he contributes.
Gordon Hayward- Came on strong this last year and moved from someone that could have been traded to probably not being traded.
Isaiah Thomas- Could be my highest ranked player this next year and was last year while still being pretty young.
Kyle Lowry- My only star that is probably at his peak to maybe ending his peak. Still not that old (31)
Young up and comers that have showed they are good
Seth Curry - cant believe I got him off of FA last year before the season started. While not exactly young has not played much before 2 years ago. Have a brother that broke out after a few years gives me some hope on him as well.
D Schroder- I have high hopes for him and see him making big strides in his second year as starter. I am thinking next year he will be in my All stars list and finish in top 50 rank this year.
A Wiggins - He was someone that I hope I bought low when I traded for him last year. I figured I would try and get as much as possible since I was giving up one of the best young players. He has some good games but is mostly a points player right now. I am hoping that improves this year as he had some good games toward the end of last year.
KCP- He is probably the most likely of my good young players to trade. He puts up good numbers but for some reason I dont see him getting much better.
Solid Vets
Ersan and J Green - as the catagory states solid vets dont see them getting much better but dont hurt your team either
Young guns that have shown something but not consistent yet
Willy Hemangomez- Showed many solid games last year and I am hoping will have many more this year. He could be another good solid piece to my core.
J Okafor- He has had several good games but might stay more just because of where he was drafted. If he gets traded or move during next year FA I hope to see him grow.
D Murray- He had a few good games mostly during the PO. He is expected to get some good time this next year and may even start for the spurs depending on what the PG situation looks like. Has lots to work on but has shown flashes when he has gotten time. He plays for the spurs which makes me like him even more.
Old guy probably gone
J Nelson - unless it looks like he will start can be had for a second rd pick.
Looking for something
These players have shown something but not sure on what their role will be this next year. This or my rookie pick will probably be my second cut.
G Robinson III- If Paul George leaves, he probably stays. If George stays then his spot becomes questionable with Stephenson getting more minuets.
G Papa- Got some playing time after Cousins was traded had a few good games. Plays behind Kofus and WKS. I think he played better then WKS and hope he can pass him this year for the start.
N Vonleh- He gets me every year. I drafted him in the keeper league and think if he puts it together could be something but after this many years will probably not be much more then a solid player at best.
KJ Mcdaniels- People liked when I drafted him in the keeper league but he has not done much since then. He played ok towards the end but did not have anyone great in front of him. If he start will probably stay on team.
I am sure some will say this is bad strategy but I would like to see who else will post theirs.
