The draft is over, so the trading process will eventually start.
Here are the rules.
1. 1 Veto each per manager
2. 5 veto's will cancel a pending trade
3. Trades will pend out for 2 days, with yahoo itself to accept the deal this season.
4. Commish (Force or Blanks) can instantly cancel a trade if it is so bad that it's insulting, e.g.Kevin Garnett for Matt Carroll.
5. The Veto form is in full effect again this season. The veto form has been designed to limit obsessive vetoing from managers, now every manager must post a reason to why they believe a trade is unfair. If it is not a legit reason, the veto wont count.
Thus, here is the form. I expect all managers to cut and paste this form out, and use it for EVERY veto. This form MUST be used in the correct format or the veto wont count.
Veto Response Rules:
There is no word limit like last season, but the reason must still be valid and make sense.
If a particular manager makes a good point, you may agree with the manager instead of crafting an original response. But be warned, this rule is not to be abused. If a manager always vetoes trades by just agreeing with other managers, they will be flagged by the Commissioners, and if it continues, then any future vetoes may not count, unless an original reason is supplied.
Managers who are a part of the trade:
Managers involved in the trade can also argue their point of view, their reasoning behind the trade and any strategy involve. Managers who choose to veto MUST take this reasoning into consideration before vetoing.
But most of all this veto system is all about common sense. If either Force or myself believes the system is being manipulated or abused, then steps will be taken, and veto rights may be taken away.
