I don't see him returning this season in all honesty. Nothing wrong with this trade, it's so pointless to veto a trade for a PF that averages almost 9ppg, 8 boards per game (and nothing else) for a PG that averages almost 8ppg and 4apg, 1spg. Both players are waiver wire talent in public leagues.
Spurs has a habit of seeing a players current ranking, then over analysing' it to his ranking (usually around 20-30 ranks higher than the player really is). I mean shit, he's already called Dalembert a top 50 player this season.
People are crapping on about me getting the better end of the deal, yet the Hornets won today with Vas going for 12 points, 4 boards, 10 assists and 3 steals. Monty Williams likes him, he's going to play regardless of it or not Jack and Gordon do end up being fit out there.

Just following this thread up some more, and looking outside of a biased point of view (because I like both players). Looking at a fantasy stand point, this is as fair a trade as you can get (and yes spurs, this is me DEFENDING it now). I'm actually quite offended that "some" people could find this trade unbalanced. ![](http://oi41.tinypic.com/2uer8f9.jpg) Overall, lets have a look at who gets what, ect ect. Overall Rank: Ersan is sitting at 140, Vas at 152 Owned: Ersan 36%, Vas 31% Minutes: Pretty much even, Ersan gets a minute more per game then Vas. FG%: Both suck, no advantage to either PP or myself FT%: Advantage PP PTS: Advantage Roost, though not much in it REB: Advantage Roost, main reason for the trade AST: Advantage PP, main reason for the trade STL: Advantage PP 3PM: No clear advantage, both shoot around the same amount of three's per game Blocks: Advantage Roost, though Ersan doesnt block a hell of a lot TO: Advantage Roost I don't see how this is so unfair that it had 1 person up in the air over whether or not to veto it, and the other coming in all upset over it and vetoing it. Makes no sense at all to me. Who has the bigger upside? I don't think there is a clear cut favourite. Ersan is not going to get much better then the 8/8 he is averaging now. Vas probably won't go any higher than 8-9ppg, 5apg. Last but not least? This is not a trade that will change the course of a teams season. This is a "piece" trade. The fact that people even looked at a veto in this instance is a little disappointing. As PP already suggested, veto's are there for trades that quite cleary destroy leagues (eg: LeBron for Vasquez, Durant for Ersan, ect ect). This trade is, and will always be nothing more than two managers wanting to fill in a need and experiment. Shame on you vetoers. As Nadia in American Pie says so gracefully, "shame on you"

dalembert is just now down to 63 for the year on avg. He hasnt played much the last couple of weeks. He was ranked top 25 for a little bit of time.
Ersan also didnt play much at the beginning that is why i dropped him. This lowers his avg.

Ersan also didnt play much at the beginning that is why i dropped him. This lowers his avg. Same situation for Vas. Start of the year his minutes were mostly based in the teens. He's only just started to get big time minutes mid-late january. His stats (like Ersan's) would be much higher had he had the same minutes at the start of the season. Your point is? what?

I tried to post earlier today (on my mobile) before I even heard the news on Gordon, that I was ok with the trade now. The fact that Gordon is out for the rest of the fantasy regular season makes it even more even as has been highlighted. It's a good trade for both teams and an example of trades that work towards making the teams involved better, regardless of the worth of the individual players being exchanged.
