Hey mate sorry it took me some time to get a chance to post this thread due to other engagements tonight..This is a pretty straightforward trade. Now that I've got billups I could afford to move Williams in order to bolster my big man cats. I wanted to get more rebounds, blocks and fg% and this achieves that for me and I believe really strengthens my team. Lou Williams is probably the better of the two but this move is about roster balance for me.

Hey now, I have to play UA the first week and need a win, so none of this handing him good players stuff. I can't believe that these to players are ranked as closely as they are after last season. I'm not actually contesting the trade, just whining about it.

Lou Williams happens to be exactly the type of backup point guard that I like. Scores points, Shoots three pointers, And most importantly has very low TOs. He does not do a whole heck of a lot much else, His field-goal percentage is going to be particularly annoying to me. He is a volume shooter so I will probably just have to get used to his field-goal percentage being erratic. It will just be a lot easier for me to overcome his low field-goal percentage with the rest of my team then to overcome someone with high turnovers.
I am pretty relieved to be able to get rid of SamDam I am not a big man team and there is nothing he could have done to fundamentally change that drafting Thuddeus Young Was an embarrassing myopic tactical error on my part. Trading to get SamDam, As some had correctly speculated, Was a positional sidestepped so that I would have a better Angle to get something that I needed. I did not know if that would take the form of another point guard, a low grade Center that I liked better, Or a plain old player upgrade. Since so many of you hold Sam in high regard in here (Whereas I personally think he is a piss Distance away from worthless) That I might get a better range of trade offers.
That's right Sam. I used you, Now hit the bricks. That's just how I roll. When life gives me crap I make chocolate milk.
I was recently inspired by a story of a boy somewhere up north here that traded something little like a paperclip all the way up into a sports car or something like that. He got on to some online trader and swapping website And just kept on upgrading. Btw, Lou Williams Is on the trading block. Lebron, Here I come!

Lou Williams can easily be turned into Lebron...if you combine him with Irving and Cousins

Hmm, I think the Lou Williams part would be a deal breaker for me.
