I figured the game would be a shootout with the Giants secondary in tatters but the Giants were in it if Cruz doesn't have dropsies. My hate for the Cowboys has simmered down their last few years of futility plus Romo being from the Sconnie and all makes him hard to hate. The Giants have done more with less talent the last few years then anyone aside from the Pats and I still don't like them.

Wish Giants D would have held up better and Murry would have gotten more points.

Lol, the Packer D looked like crap. Just as I suspected we still can't stop the run and aren't the best at covering the back out of the backfield, so we are only effective defending 3rd and long or a 1st down pass. Oh well, still made a game out of it. Love Cobb. Jennings has been out all preseason with a concusion too. Packers have the most predictable offense. Fisrt down short pass, second down run for nothing, third down Rodgers will get the first if he can roll away from the rush.
The Niners looked pretty good. Moss is a nice addition and so is Manningham. OLine looks good, and the secondary looks tough, dline and linebackers are studs. With their weak division they should get the best record. I thought Seattle might be good but its not looking that way.

Ok time for my Pack to get a little better against da Bears. Not going to be easy this year as the Bears finally realized that Cutler needs receivers but their OLine is awe full. If the Pack can somehow stop the run once and a while this game is over.
Player to watch is Randall Cobb, kid can do it all.

I hope the Packers D smacks Cutler right in the mouth all night long. Man I hate that guy. He's right behind Eli in my quarterback hate list. My friend is a huge Packers fan so I've gotten a soft spot for them over the last few years.

I like DeMarco Murray , he is clearly the best running back we have had since emmitt. The defense has figured out I a lot since last season, particularly in the secondary. I know it is early, but I thought in the off-season that Dallas and San Francisco would be the two best teams in the nfc. Dallas is favored by 3 against Seattle tomorrow. I figured they should beat the Seahawks by much more than seven points.
Philadelphia is completely overrated AGAIN this season. It is always Sunny in Philadelphia at the beginning of the year but then some calamity befalls them and the rest of the season turns to crap. I hate the giants, but they are an example of a team that is good at rolling with the punches. When Philly hits the mat they are there to stay Philadelphia favored by three against Baltimore. I take Baltimore with better than even odds that Vick gets his first significant injury of the year. Not that I am hoping that he gets hurt, it is just that that is the kind of team the ravens are.
Washington favored by three over St. Louis Did they not see what my main man RG3 did last week?
Atlanta is favored by three over Denver. I am a little puzzled by this line, I would never bet against Peyton in the underdog position. (that sounded gross. )
New Orleans is favored by only 2.5 against the Carolina Panthers. the Saints should smoke those guys by a lot more than that.
Those are my stone cold locks. Ha. I would probably be happy to just get 2 right.

i think the nfc is
49ers Pack Falcons Eagles (If Vick is healthy)
the Cowboys certainly improved their secondary and their Oline but they live and die by the Romo. I'll be watching the Falcons secondary Monday night against Peyton to see if the can hang with the Pack or not. I think the Falcons rushing attack has taken a step back too, but we'll see because the Broncos D is very underated.

Yikes, my pics really sucked. The Cowboys did me a huge favor by losing to Seattle. It is clearly safe to get off the bandwagon, and the sooner the better. What a timesaver that will be.
NZP is a lot better at picking those spreads than IM. I think my best years in NFL pick em was when I consistently picked against my instincts.
