Last week ernie Johnson was asking the panel who they thought the next big time player like LeBron James in the league was going to be.
Kenny and Berkeley gave their answers. Then Shaq said He thought the next "Best player in the world" Is going to be Blake Griffin.
I just laughed. Why do they give this guy a microphone? Ridiculous.

Kyle Lowry down and it looked ugly. Could be out for a week or two.

The roll didn't look that bad to me, but he was sure crying about it a lot.

Shit, And I just dropped Terrence Ross. It may mean nothing to Ross, But it seems like calderon gets his point guard spot back and that frees up a time of shooting guard minutes for somebody. Oh well, It is probably a short-term boost in minutes at best

I thought that I saw something about DAntoni being out for a while with hip or knee replacement surgery.

Well I said the clippers had surpassed the Lakers but damn, They look like they have surpassed everybody. Their wins so far in this young season are against a rogues gallery of the best teams in the league, San Antonio twice, The Lakers, Memphis, Miami, Who am I missing?
The best four teams at this point in the season I think are the clippers, Memphis San Antonio and ... Denver I guess? (That's just the Western Conference of course, Not factoring in Miami and New York)
And speaking of piling on the Lakers, I don't see the hiring of coach dantoni Making much of a difference in my outlook for that team this year. I don't think there are enough three-point shooters on that entire roster to make his system work. Coby is going to average 30 points per game this year that's for sure though.
And this isn't an NBA story but, How about that guy that scored 138 Points in a single game in college over here somewhere. That sounds exhausting even against no defense. The guy isn't even 6 feet tall. You're telling me not one single guy on that other team took it upon himself and said "I'll guard that guy". He attempted only 10 free throws for the game. That has to be the softest D In human history.

i knew we were gonna lose this one
we're even further off then we seem, last time out meeks, jamieson were on fire and even dwight hit a 3, but that game was nothing, it got us to .500, lakers being at .500 is well below expectation and players were carrying on like all is well, except for kobe and honestly, its that which has me worried about kobe and dwight, pretty sure i read somthing similar from ua earlier, but kobe is pretty damn serious most of the time, dwight is far from it and i dunno how long it'll it be before that becomes a major issue
my only hope now is that nash does find life a whole lot sweeter under dantoni and that helps everyone, no doubt he will make a pretty sizable upgrade to darius morris

I personally don't think Dwight is a fit with the lakers. He's a defensive player unlike Shaq who was a low post, back to the basket scoring C. Putting Pau next to Dwight is ugly, you need a 3 point shooter and let Dwight clog the lane. It's why Rashard Lewis/Ryan Anderson worked really well with Dwight in Orlando. Hell you guys have been rumoured to go after Bargnuffi in exchange for Gasol, I'd do it. Nuffi sucks hard, can't rebound, struggles putting the ball on the floor and driving, he's one of the worst basketball IQ guys in the game and has no athletic ability but he can shoot a 3. Space it out, keep him on the perimeter, Dwight down low to bang, Nash moving the ball around, it's a better look.
Pau Gasol in my mind isn't a fit for this team if Dwight is on the roster. One needs to go.
